  • Launches MS Dhoni inspired special edition Alto800 and AltoK10


  • Maruti Suzuki India Limited, India’s car market leader, today announced its association with the upcoming movie “MS Dhoni – The Untold Story”. With this association, special editions of Alto inspired by the movie and cricket legend MS Dhoni have been introduced. Cricket icon MS Dhoni, the movie star cast and Mr. RS Kalsi, Executive Director, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki together unveiled the special editions of Alto800 and AltoK10.

    Alto’s association with “MS Dhoni – The Untold Story” is based on the cricketer’s massive popularity which harmonizes with the credibility of Alto in India. As iconic brands both are equally loved and recognised across languages and cultures across India. Alto is the only car brand to cumulatively sell 30 lakh units. MS Dhoni is a living legend of Indian cricket and is recognised for his dynamic leadership style in cricketing world. The achievements and recognitions of both MS Dhoni and Alto make them the true stars of their own leagues.

The activity, #DrivenbyPassion, invites Twitter and Facebook followers to share their untold story in 7 words. The winners of the #DrivenbyPassion contest will get an exclusive chance to meet ace cricketer and cast of the movie in Delhi.

    The special edition Alto has Dhoni inspired sporty seat covers with number “7”, MS Dhoni signature decal and body graphics, high end music system, reverse parking sensors, among others.

    The special edition is available in Alto (Lxi) and Alto K10 (Lxi, Vxi) variants. The special edition is offered with a choice of two colour interior combinations (Black+Silver and Red+Blue). Customers can avail the additional features at a nominal attractive price of Rs. 16,777/- (Alto 800 Lxi) and Rs 12,777/- (Alto K10 Lxi & Alto K10 Vxi). These special edition cars will be available for sale at Maruti Suzuki dealerships from the first week of October 2016.
